Thanks to the support of thousands of runners who run through the donation gate at the BMW Frankfurt Marathon 2011 and the Running Team from Procter & Gamble, we were able to present a proud donation amount of 30.000 Euro to Caritas Frankfurt at the end of February.The initiative „Working together to improve” will be supported with this impressive amount. The initiative includes health promotion in child day-care centers, additional sport and play opportunities and workshops for healthy eating and relaxing. This also includes the participation in the Struwwelpeter run powered by Mainova and the playful preparation of the 5 to 9-year-old for the 420m run. Approximately 90 children from Caritas started in 2011.More than 130 Caritas employees work as volunteers at the finish area. This is to say thank you to all the runners who make the project “Working together to improve” possible. Even in 2012 you will get your medal and board at the finish area by the volunteers of our charity partner.
